One time someone here shared an Amazon half-off code for a sweet little 1.5 carat round moissanite sterling ring with side brilliants, and I think several of us here scored one of those lovelies for about $20. I would rather pay the price in patience and mild risk than pay in dollars to middlemen (middlepeople?) for what is obviously the same item. I've found that for me, I have such a wide frugal streak (yes, I get the irony, a truly frugal person would not have a moissanite jewelry collection) that I prefer to take my chances with AliExpress and I even kind of enjoy the deferred gratification of seeing the multiple tracking updates as the product wends its way slowly across the globe. It came and it was perfect I recently noticed my ring was missing a stone on the left side of the band though, which is insane because I barely wear it. I would recommend flawless moissanite to literally anyone. My ring is absolutely beautiful, and amazing quality. She went more than above and beyond for me.

My rough estimate is that the prices are about 2.5 times higher on Amazon for what is clearly the same item (even the photos are identical). The shipping of course is fastest on Amazon (I have Prime), reasonable on RYH, and a couple of weeks from China on AliExpress (the prices are so great that I don't mind the shipping situation I learned a lot when I researched how they do it, it's a fascinating example of logistics).įWIW, some of the exact same stores sell the exact same pieces on both Amazon and AliExpress. The RYH price point is midway between AliExpress and Amazon, well, actually closer to Amazon if neither has a sale or discount code. Since then I've bought my moissanite rings on Amazon, AliExpress, and Etsy, and so far - knock wood - I've been very impressed with the quality of them all, which is comparable to the quality from RYH. I still would have bought from them had I known this, but I just like to know where the business is that I'm dealing with. The only hint was deep down in the terms of service, which said that Hong Kong law would apply. But my credit card statement showed a foreign transaction fee for the purchase, so I went back to the website to see where they were located. One thing: I assumed they were based in the United States because the prices were in U.S. It seems as solid as any of my silver plated rings, and seems like it would stand up to reasonable daily wear (I wouldn't wear it swimming or bathing).
